This catalog is maintained by the World Bank Data Group. Neither the IHSN nor the World Bank owns the data from
the listed surveys and censuses. The data and other survey output, when they still exist, are the property of the
producing agency or of another authorized depositor. Therefore, the IHSN catalog does not provide direct access to data or
survey reports. It only provides non-confidential and non-copyrighted information. When available, the catalog provides
information on these agencies and depositors.

To promote wider and better use of existing data, , the PARIS21 Secretariat,
and other international/ regional/ bilateral agencies are providing technical and financial support to
developing countries in the establishment of national data archives. The objectives of this
project - Accelerated Data Program (ADP) - are to promote the adoption of international
standards and good practices for survey data documentation, preservation and dissemination. By doing this,
we hope that more data will be made accessible with proper metadata to the research community. Please consult
our Accelerated Data Program website, and our list of national survey catalog.
