NADA 2.0 released

The IHSN has released a new version of its survey cataloguing application. This open source software, compliant with the DDI and OAI international standards, is available at http://www.ihsn.org/nada.

IRSS launches a survey catalog (Burkina Faso, July 24, 2009)

A new survey catalog (NADA application) was set up at the Institut de Recherche en Science de la Santé (IRSS). The catalog is available at http://www.irss.bf/catalogue/.

Ghana first country to upgrade to NADA 2.0 survey catalog (July 19-21, 2009)

Principles and Good Practice for Preserving Data

This document produced by the Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social research (ICPSR) provides basic guidance for managers in statistical agencies who are responsible for preserving data using the principles and good practice defined by the digital preservation community.

Marrakech Action Plan for Statistics The IHSN is a partnership of international organizations seeking to improve the availability, quality and use of survey data in developing countries. This informal network was established as a recommendation of the Marrakech Action Plan for Statistics.

The IHSN is served by a light Secretariat managed by the World Bank Development Data Group and the Paris21 Secretariat at OECD.
